In order to ensure the implementation of the tasks assigned to the State Bureau of Investigation, the following regional departments were established:
1) Regional Department located in the city of Kyiv, which extends its activities to the city of Kyiv, Kyiv, Cherkasy and Chernihiv regions;
2) Regional Department located in the city of Kramatorsk, which extends its activities to Donetsk and Luhansk regions;
3) Regional Department located in the city of Lviv, which extends its activities to Volyn, Zakarpattia, Ivano-Frankivsk, Lviv, Ternopil regions;
4) Regional Department located in the city of Melitopol, which extends its activities to the Autonomous Republic of Crimea, Zaporizhzhia, Kherson regions, the city of Sevastopol;
5) Regional Department located in the city of Mykolaiv, which extends its activities to Kirovohrad, Mykolaiv, Odesa regions;
6) Regional Department located in the city of Poltava, which extends its activities to Dnipropetrovsk, Poltava, Sumy, Kharkiv regions;
7) Regional Department located in the city of Khmelnytskyi, which extends its activities to Vinnytsia, Zhytomyr, Rivne, Khmelnytskyi, Chernivtsi regions.
