At the request of the SBI, the court seized the plane, which the owner-collaborator planned to transfer to the aggressor after the occupation of the southern regions (VIDEO)
The SBI employees reported suspicion to the director of the civil aviation enterprise for collaboration. During searches on the territory leased by the company, the SBI found a passenger aircraft AN-140-100.
According to the operative information, the suspect planned to transfer the aircraft to the invaders.
Currently, the aircraft is seized. It is planned to transfer the aircraft to the National Agency of Ukraine for finding, tracing and management of assets derived from corruption and other crimes (ARMA).
It was established that after the full-scale invasion of russian federation, the director of one of the Ukrainian civil aviation enterprises fled to the temporarily occupied Crimea, where he began to cooperate with representatives of the aggressor state. The businessman planned to establish aviation business in the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine.
He hoped that the "russian world" would spread to all southern and eastern regions of Ukraine. The collaborator promised the leader of the occupation authorities of one of the temporarily occupied regions to hand over the AN-140-100 passenger aircraft, which belongs to his company and is located on the territory controlled by Ukraine.
The entrepreneur also assured that he will negotiate with business partners on the transfer of three more aircrafts of the company, which are currently on the territory of the russian federation.
Besides the aircraft, during the searches in one of the offices of the company, law enforcers found a working call center, which is being checked for possible connection with the suspect's illegal activities.Also items with soviet symbols, propaganda flyers and russian newspapers were found at his place of residence.
The businessman was served in absentia a notice of suspicion of collaboration (Part 1 of Art. 14, Part 4 of Art. 111-1 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
The sanction of the article provides for up to 5 years of imprisonment with confiscation of property.
