According to the materials of the SBI, four Mі-2 helicopters and two AN-2 aircrafts were handed over to the National Agency of Ukraine for finding, tracing and management of assets derived from corruption and other crimes (abbr. ARMA). The aircrafts belonged to the Crimean entrepreneurs who were exposed by the State Bureau of Investigation on the financing of the armed aggression of the russian federation.
In January 2024, the SBI has served notifications of suspicion of financing actions committed to change the boundaries of the territory of Ukraine (Part 3 of Article 110-2 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine) to 9 entrepreneurs who were registered in the territory of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea and were engaged in recreational and agro-industrial entrepreneurship. They were doing business in the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine and were paying taxes to the aggressor country, financing the armed aggression of the russian federation.
The investigation found that the defendants have owned helicopters and airplanes that were located on the controlled territory of Ukraine. To prevent their re-registration to fictitious persons, by the request of the prosecutor, the court arrested them.
After the sale of the fleet, the funds will be used to purchase bonds of the domestic state loan «Military Bonds».
The procedural guidance is provided by the Cherkasy Region Prosecutor`s Office.
