Deputy head of colony in Kherson region, who worked for occupants, will face trial based on the SBI materials

The SBI employees completed a special pre-trial investigation against the deputy head of the state institution "Holoprystan Correctional Colony No. 7", who worked for the invaders during the temporary occupation of Kherson region.

The indictment was sent to court.

After the russian invasion, the official voluntarily began to work for the occupation administration and was offered the "position" of acting head of the colony by the invaders.

He was engaged in organizing the work of the occupation authorities in the occupied territories of Kherson region, recruited employees to the colony. He executed the instructions of the russians to counteract the Ukrainian Defense Forces.

The official is accused of voluntarily holding a position in illegal law enforcement agencies established in the temporarily occupied territory (Part 7 of Art. 111-1 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).

The sanction of the article provides for imprisonment for up to 15 years.

The procedural supervision is carried out by the Cherkasy Region Prosecutor's Office.
