Based on the SBI materials, two more former law enforcers from Kherson region, who, along with the occupiers, conducted raids on resistance activists, will face trial
The SBI investigators have completed a special pre-trial investigation against two former law enforcers from Kherson region who, along with the occupiers, conducted raids on resistance activists.
The indictments have been sent to court.
Former law enforcement officers from Henichesk supported the occupation regime from the first days of the war. The traitors voluntarily began to serve in a fake law enforcement agency called the "Genichesk people's militia".
For their treachery, they were promoted to senior positions: chief of district inspectors and head of the department, accordingly.
It is known that the defendants agitated Kherson residents to collaborate with the enemy. Those who disagreed would be handed over to the occupiers, and raids were conducted to find patriots from the resistance movement.
The former law enforcement officers are accused of treason (Part 2 of Article 111 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine). The sanction of the article provides for punishment in the form of life imprisonment.
The Kherson Regional Prosecutor's Office is in charge of the case.
