Former law enforcement officer providing transport services to russian soldiers to be tried under SBI materials
SBI officers have completed a special pre-trial investigation into a former law enforcement officer involved in the transport of russian soldiers.
The indictment was sent to court.
It was found that the man stayed in Enerhodar and voluntarily agreed to the occupants' offer for a position in the illegal authority - the military-civilian administration of Enerhodar.
The former law enforcement officer became the head of the road and transport department. He is still working for the enemy, in particular, organising the transportation of russian military personnel.
He also regularly becomes a "hero" of the propaganda media. In particular, on the news, he complained about Ukrainian commanders, praised the occupiers and speculated on the future of the nuclear power plant - all in line with kremlin narratives.
The law enforcement officer is accused of voluntarily holding a position in an illegal authority established in the temporarily occupied territory (Part 5 of Article 111-1 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
The article provides for imprisonment for up to 10 years.
Procedural supervision is provided by the Zaporizhzhia Specialised Defence Prosecutor's Office.
