Based on the SBI materials, two traitors from the Luhansk region, who were spreading fakes and persecuting prisoners of war will be tried
The SBI employees have completed a pre-trial investigation against two ex-law enforcers from the Luhansk region who defected to the enemy.
The indictments have been sent to court.
The former deputy head of the Starobilsk prosecutor's office of the Luhansk region carried out subversive activities against Ukraine. Together with representatives of the occupation authorities, he spread false information through the propaganda channels of the enemy.
Another former law enforcement officer took a position in the so-called "prosecutor's office of the Kreminsky district," which was illegally created by the russians. He cooperates with the invaders persecuting prisoners of war and residents who assist the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Former law enforcement officers are accused of high treason (part 2 of article 111 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
The sanction of the article provides for a sentence of imprisonment, including life imprisonment.
