According to the materials of the SBI, the current People's Deputy of Ukraine who is accused of treason and collaboration, will be judged

The employees of the SBI completed a pre-trial investigation against the current People's Deputy of Ukraine, who committed treason and conducted collaboration on the temporarily occupied territory.

The SBI, in cooperation with the Security Service of Ukraine, established that the People's Deputy of Ukraine of several convocations from political party «The Opposition Platform -for Life», which is banned in Ukraine, at the beginning of the invasion switched to the side of the enemy. On the first day of full-scale invasion by the russian federation, he left Kyiv for the occupied Berdyansk.

In order to preserve his own wealth and enterprises, which are located in the occupied city, he began to cooperate with the invaders.

The pre-trial investigation established that the enterprises in the temporarily occupied territories of Berdyansk and the Autonomous Republic of Crimea, which are affiliated with People's Deputy of Ukraine, were selling products to the russian enterprises. They fulfilled the orders of the military-industrial complex of russia for the manufacture of weapons and armored vehicles.

For a long time, the People's Deputy of Ukraine had been staying in the occupied territory. There he met with representatives of the aggressor state, armed forces and the city's occupation administration, had their support and even received protection from them.

During cooperation with the aggressors, the People's Deputy of Ukraine visited the temporarily occupied Crimea and russia.

Later, due to commercial disputes with the occupiers, he decided to return to the unoccupied part of Ukraine.

The People's Deputy of Ukraine is accused of high treason (Part 1 of Article 111 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine) and of collaboration (Part 4 of Article 111-1 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).

The sanction of the Article provides for imprisonment for up to 15 years with confiscation of property.

The suspect is currently being held in the pre-trial detention center.
