The court once again arrested Medvedchuk's yacht «ROYAL ROMANCE»

The Prosecutor General opened criminal proceeding that based on the evidence that was collected by the financial intelligence units of Ukraine regarding the ownership of the yacht «ROYAL ROMANCE» by former People's Deputy from «Opposition Platform - for Life» Viktor Medvedchuk, who is accused of high treason.

According to these materials, on July 19 the Pechersky District Court of Kyiv satisfied the petition of the Office of the Prosecutor General of Ukraine regarding the arrest of the yacht and its transfer to the National Agency of Ukraine for finding, tracing and management of assets.

In particular, the investigation possesses data on the possible illegal legalization of property by Viktor Medvedchuk, namely the fictitious sale of the yacht through offshore companies, the ultimate beneficiary owner of which is his wife.

Also, the seizure of this and other Medvedchuk’s property were applied in other criminal proceedings of the State Bureau of Investigation.

The law enforcers and foreign policy agencies are continuing to take measures for further seizure and return to Ukraine the property of fugitive-traitors.
