According to the materials of the State Bureau of Investigation and  the Security Service of Ukraine, the notification of suspicion of high treason was  served to the current People's Deputy of Ukraine, who harmed the defense capability and information security of Ukraine

According to the materials of the SBI and the Security Service of Ukraine, under the procedural guidance  of the Office of the Prosecutor General, the notification of suspicion of high treason was served to the current People's Deputy of Ukraine. The law enforcement officers exposed him on causing damage to the defense capability and information security of Ukraine.

As it was confirmed by a comprehensive psycho-linguistic and military expertise, the People's Deputy of Ukraine had begun to harm the defense capability and information security of Ukraine even before the start of the full-scale invasion of the russian federation. So, in 2021, he published false information about the absence of the threat of the full-scale invasion of the russian federation from the territory of the republic of belarus.

He also spoke about the incorrectness and inexpediency of the current foreign and domestic political course of our state. The People's Deputy of Ukraine discredited the current state authorities, distorting facts and events in the country, and publicly called for changing the boundaries of the territory and state border of Ukraine.

The People's Deputy of Ukraine recorded programs on his own channels, gave interviews to pro-russian bloggers and experts. After that, this content was distributed to propaganda media on the territory of the russian federation in order to create a public position on the territory of the aggressor country that this is the official position of the representative of the Ukrainian authorities. In his programs, the People's Deputy of Ukraine disseminated information that confirmed in the mass consciousness the idea that Ukrainian state authority had allegedly brought the country to a complete collapse, loss of territories and people, and was unable to achieve peace. Also, the People's Deputy of Ukraine imposed the idea that Ukraine is no longer able to win and should negotiate with russia on any terms.

He also spread the information aimed at discrediting Western partners and European values. In particular, he said that the West interferes not only in the internal affairs of Ukraine and caused the war in the country, but also tries to undermine stability in Georgia and Moldova by influencing the elections.

The investigation also established his contacts with representatives of the embassy of the republic of belarus  after situation, when he came to the rostrum of the parliament with the flag of this country in September 2020. He was repeatedly travelling  to Belarus, where he met with representatives of business, political structures and even with the self-proclaimed president of the country. Referring exactly to this meeting, the People's Deputy of Ukraine spread the idea that there was no threat of an attack by russian troops from the territory of belarus, etc.

According to investigators, under the patronage of the self-proclaimed president of belarus, the People's Deputy of Ukraine and his close relatives conducted active business with representatives of this country, including the electricity market and mineral fertilizer. By buying goods there at low prices, they imported them  to Ukraine through another European country and sold them  much more expensive.

The "supporting regime" by the belarusian authorities allowed the People's Deputy of Ukraine to receive 1,5 million euros of net profit in half a year. At the same time, he was able to transfer only 500 thousand euros to Ukraine. The rest of money could not be obtained due to the blocking of suspicious transactions by the financial monitoring of one of the European banks.

It was also confirmed that during this time, the People's Deputy of Ukraine had bought three luxury cars with a total value of 500 thousand US dollars and registered them on his relatives.

The People's Deputy of Ukraine is suspected of high treason, on the grounds of a criminal offense under Part 1 of Article 111 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.

The sanction of the Article provides for imprisonment for of up to 15 years with confiscation of property.

The court will be asked to choose a preventive measure in the form of detention.
