According to the materials of the SBI, a traitor, who serves in the Crimea as a commander of the russian S-400 missile system, was sentenced to 15 years in prison

According to the materials of the investigation of the SBI, the court sentenced the Former Deputy Commander of the battery of the anti-aircraft missile division of the military unit from the Crimea. He was sentenced to 15 years in prison with confiscation of property.

In 2014, after the occupation of the Crimea, the serviceman did not arrive at his new location in Vinnitsa, remained on the peninsula and began to serve under the russian flag.

After signing a contract with the russian Armed Forces, he provided air defense of the Crimea under the command of a russian division and took an active part in creating propaganda materials. Currently, the traitor has been promoted to the position of battery commander of the S-400 air defense missile system.

The Vinnitsa City Court of Vinnitsa region found him guilty of high treason and desertion (Part 1 of Article 111, Part 1 of Article 408 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).

Public prosecution was provided by the Vinnytsia specialized prosecutor's office in the field of defense of the Southern region.
