At the initiative of the SBI, the court transferred two enterprises in Ivano-Frankivsk region, owned by russians, to the Asset Recovery and Management Agency management

The State Bureau of Investigation continues its dilligent work on detecting and transferring to the state the property of the subjects of the russian federation. This year alone, property and corporate rights worth several billion hryvnias were transferred to the Asset Recovery and Management Agency.

At the request of the SBI, a factory and a warehouse complex in Ivano-Frankivsk region, owned by russian citizens, were transferred to the state management. It is a warehouse complex of polyethylene and polyvinyl chloride pipes and a urea resin factory with a total square space of more than 18 thousand m2.

Earlier, at the initiative of the State Bureau of Investigation, the court arrested shares in the authorized capitals of these enterprises worth about UAH 70 million.

The investigation established that their actual owners are russian citizens. They tried to hide it in order to avoid confiscation of property to the state revenue. The russians created an offshore company through which they controlled the production activities of the enterprises.

It was also established that these companies evaded taxes.

The investigation into tax evasion by these enterprises is ongoing (Part 2 of Art. 212 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine). The amount of such losses to the state budget may amount to tens of millions of hryvnias.
