Since the beginning of russian aggression, SBI has been investigating 937 proceedings against traitors and collaborators (INFOGRAPHIC)

The State Bureau of Investigation continues systematic activities to identify the perpetrators who have decided to defect to the enemy. Each such fact is thoroughly investigated, and all collaborators will be brought to criminal liability.

In total, since February 24, 2022, the SBI has been investigating 937 crimes against national security, in particular 780 criminal proceedings for treason (Art. 111 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine), 123 - for collaboration (Art. 111-1 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine), 10 - for aiding the aggressor state (Art. 111-2 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine) and others.

333 suspects were reported about suspicion, and 245 were put on the wanted list.

1 164 persons are being checked for involvement in treason and collaboration.

39 proceedings under these articles were sent to court.

The largest number of proceedings were opened in Donetsk, Luhansk, Kherson, and Zaporizhzhia regions, including the following facts:

• The SBI exposed two law enforcement officers who defected to the enemy after the occupation of Mangush village in the Donetsk region. 
• In liberated Izyum and Kupiansk, the SBI detained collaborators who worked for the occupiers. 
• The SBI suspects a judge of justifying russian aggression and encouraging others to collaborate.
• In the Luhansk region, the SBI employees detained a russian serviceman hiding in the Kharkiv region's liberated territory. 
• The SBI reported suspicion to the head of the department and deputy head of one of the district departments of the State Emergency Service, who betrayed the oath and took senior positions in the so-called "ministry of emergencies of luhansk people's deputy".
• Notification of suspicion to three former law enforcement officers from Berdiansk, who started serving in the so-called "people's police".
• The SBI detained a former law enforcement officer in the Kharkiv region, who gave the occupiers the premises, official car and agitated against Ukraine.
• The SBI exposed two collaborators from Kupiansk forestry who helped the occupiers to build fortifications.
