Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion of the russian federation, the SBI has sent to the court almost 800 indictments for crimes against the National Security of Ukraine

The State Bureau of Investigation continues systematic work to expose state traitors and collaborators.

Within the framework of the criminal proceedings, evidence and witness statements are being collected, other information is being processed. The materials are used to prosecute those who betrayed Ukraine during the war.

According to some criminal proceedings, the courts have already assigned real terms of imprisonment to the detained defectors.

In total, since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, the SBI has completed and continues the investigation of 2 189 criminal proceedings regarding crimes against the National Security of Ukraine.

Among them:

1645 criminal proceedings on high treason (Article 111 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine),

419 criminal proceedings on the fact of collaboration (Article 111-1 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine),

35 criminal proceedings on accomplices of the aggressor state (Article 111-2 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine), and others.

Currently, according to the results of the pre-trial investigations:

1 111 people were served notifications of suspicion,

532 people were put on the wanted list,

1 296 people are being checked for involvement in high treason and collaboration,

797 indictments were sent to the court.

Among the recent examples of the effective work of the SBI in exposing traitors and collaborators:

The traitor, who was collecting data on traffic routes and the number of equipment and military of the Defense Forces in the Zaporizhzhya region, will go on trial.

According to the materials of the SBI, the russian agent who was serving in Zakarpattia for more than a year, will be judged.

According to the materials of the SBI, the court sentenced four traitors, as well as another 13 defectors are waiting for court decision.
