The High Anti-Corruption Court confiscated to the state budget nearly UAH 3 million of unjustified assets of the official of the Armed Forces of Ukraine
Identifying unjustified assets and ensuring appropriate legal action remains an important element of the SBI's anti-corruption work. Within these proceedings the Bureau ensures effective documentation and further procedural decisions.
Based on materials from the State Bureau of Investigation, the High Anti-Corruption Court ruled that the assets of the former head of the fuel and lubricants warehouse of the Logistics Command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and his close associates were unjustified.
The employees of the SBI established that in 2024, the military officer's wife, acting on his behalf, purchased a residential house and a land plot in the Lviv region with an area of 180.8 square meters worth UAH 2.9 million.
At the same time, the couple did not have sufficient legal income and savings to purchase this property.
In 2025, the house was sold for UAH 2.7 million.
In July 2025, materials from the SBI regarding the signs of unjustified assets were sent to the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office. After reviewing them, the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office filed a lawsuit with the High Anti-Corruption Court in December, 2025 for more than UAH 2.9 million.
