In October the SBI completed investigation against 9 traitor judges from Crimea

The SBI continues systematic work to bring to responsibility judges, prosecutors and law enforcement officers from the Autonomous Republic of Crimea who defected to the enemy in 2014.

In October 2022, the SBI employees completed a special pre-trial investigation against 9 judges of the Court of Appeal and local courts and 2 law enforcers from Crimea on the fact of high treason.

The indictments were sent to court.

After the temporary annexation of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea by russia, the traitors began to work in the courts, prosecutor's offices and law enforcement agencies of the aggressor, illegally created by the occupants. Currently, the traitors ensure the functioning of the illegally created bodies of the occupier.

The defendants are charged with high treason (Part 1 of Art. 111 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).

The sanction of the article provides for punishment in the form of imprisonment for up to 15 years with confiscation of property.

In total, since the beginning of 2022, the SBI officers have completed special pre-trial investigations against 50 judges, 6 prosecutors and 2 police officers from Crimea.

Procedural guidance is provided by the Prosecutor's Office of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol and Zaporizhzhia Specialized Prosecutor's Office in the military and defense sphere.
