The judge who hit two teenagers in Kharkiv has been served notification of suspicion

Based on the SBI, a judge from one of the district court in the Kharkiv region has been served notification of suspicion for hitting two girls aged 13 and 14 on a pedestrian crossing on December 18, 2025.

It should be reminded that the girls suffered injuries of varying severity as a result of the accident. They were taken to hospital by paramedics.

As part of its investigation, the SBI takes all necessary measures to establish the circumstances and causes of this road traffic accident in a comprehensive, thorough, and impartial manner.

The judge has been served notification of suspicion for violating traffic safety rules or transport operation rules by person driving vehicles, causing serious bodily injury (Part 2 of Article 286 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).

The article provides for up to 8 years of imprisonment.
