The court sent into custody the current People's Deputy of Ukraine who is suspected of high treason by the SBI 

The Pechersky District Court of Kyiv sent into custody without the opportunity to post a bail the current People's Deputy of Ukraine who is suspected of high treason.

It should be reminded  that yesterday, according to the materials of the SBI and the Security Service of Ukraine, under procedural guidance of the Office of the Prosecutor General, the notification of suspicion was served to him. The law enforcement officers have exposed the People's Deputy of Ukraine on causing damages to the defense capability and information security of Ukraine.

The People's Deputy of Ukraine is suspected of high treason, on the grounds of a criminal offense under Part 1 of Article 111 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.

The sanction of the Article provides for imprisonment for up to 15 years with confiscation of property.
