In Zaporizhzhia region, the SBI notified the collaborator who occupied the post of the head of "Mikhailovsky Department of Internal Affairs" on suspicion


The SBI investigators notified a former executive service employee in the Zaporizhzhia region of suspicion of collaborationism (in absentia).

The traitor actively supported the "new order" and voluntarily agreed to take the post of head of the so-called "Mikhailovsky Department of Internal Affairs" in the temporarily occupied by russian federation territory of Zaporizhzhia region.

The collaborator provides assistance to russian federation and its paramilitary formations in carrying out subversive activities against Ukraine under martial law.

The former law enforcement officer is currently suspected of voluntarily holding a position in illegal law enforcement agencies established in the temporarily occupied territory (Part 7 of Article 111-1 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).

The sanction of the article provides for imprisonment for up to 15 years with deprivation of the right to hold certain positions or engage in certain activities for up to 15 years.

The pre-trial investigation is underway.
