In Zakarpattia, the SBI exposed an official of the Territorial center for recruitment and social support, who for money helped men to escape from the recruitment center, and helped the militaries who were returned from the unauthorized abandonment of the military unit - to do it again

The employees of the SBI have detained the instructor of the recruiting department of the Mukachevo district Territorial center for recruitment and social support, who for money helped men of military age to escape from the building of the recruitment center, and helped the soldiers who were returned after the unauthorized abandonment of the military unit to escape from the reserve battalion.

He secretly led outside the institution the men who came to mobilize to the Territorial center for recruitment and social support, but did not want to serve. The cost of such a service was 3-4 thousand USD, which were brought to him by relatives or acquaintances of those men. Also, he helped to the soldiers who had just returned from the unauthorized abandonment of the military unit to flee the reserve battalion again for 4-5 thousand USD. During the private conversations with the soldiers, he persuaded them to escape again. He assured them that he would show the way how to get out of the unit bypassing patrols, where his acquaintance would wait for the escapees. The suspect promised that the acquaintance would take them to safe locations by his own car.

According to this scheme, at least 5 soldiers left the place of service.

The SBI detained the instructor while he was being transferred 10 thousand USD for assistance in evading military service by two soldiers.

The suspect was notified of suspicion of obstructing the legitimate activities of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and other military formations during a special period (Part 1 of Article 114-1 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).

The sanction of the article provides for imprisonment for up to 8 years.

The preventive measure in the form of detention was chosen for him.

The investigation is ongoing, and the involvement of the management of the Mukachevo district Territorial center for recruitment and social support in the illegal activities is being established.

10 authorized searches were conducted, during which draft records confirming illegal activities, mobile phones, money in various currencies in the equivalent of over 36 thousand USD, 5 gold bars weighing 31 grams each valued at almost 700 thousand UAH, were seized.
