The property of the deputy-traitor was seized

Based on the materials of the SBI, the court seized the property of deputy-traitor Oleksiy Kovalov for its further confiscation for the benefit of the state. The court seized the shares of the deputy in the capitals of three legal entities, as well as his bank accounts.

The total value of corporate rights is over UAH 4.7 million.

One of the legal entities with 100% of its statutory capital seized is TRK Interradio LLP, the Ukrainian information and advertising television channel Channel 4.

It should be reminded, that in April 2022, officers of the State Bureau of Investigation opened a criminal case against a people's deputy, who, after the full-scale invasion of the russian federation, is staying on the temporarily occupied territory of the Kherson region and is assisting the occupying troops. The investigation exposed that at the beginning of this year, Oleksiy Kovalov became deputy head of the illegally created by the occupation administration of the aggressor state - "the administration of the Kherson region".

On July 6, 2022, the Prosecutor General, based on evidence collected by the State Bureau of Investigation, informed him of the suspicion.

On July 15, an interim measure in the form of detention under arrest was chosen for the people's deputy Oleksiy Kovalov (VIDEO), following an application from the SBI.
The deputy was put on the wanted list.

Also on June 8, 2022, the deputy posted a statement on his social network page about the alleged integration of a part of Ukraine into the aggressor country to influence and manipulate public opinion.

The actions of the suspect were qualified under Part 2 Article 111 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (treason under martial law), Part 1 of Article 111-2 (complicity in the aggressor-powers), for which the punishment of up to 15 years of imprisonment or life imprisonment with deprivation of property is provided.

The pre-trial investigation is ongoing.
