Ministers of the Yanukovych presiding time who worked on the Kharkiv agreements were put on the state and international wanted list
The SBI investigator put on the state and international wanted list ministers who are suspected of high treason for the preparation of the Kharkiv Agreements.
Also, the SBI employees are planning to apply to the court for setting an interim measure in the form of detention against the former Minister of Justice and the former Minister of Foreign Affairs.
According to the operative information, the suspects are currently abroad, so a request to Interpol to detain them is also planned.
It should be reminded, that the SBI investigators collected evidence to hold two former ministers criminally liable for committing high treason during project draft development, settlement, signing, ratification, and implementation of the Agreement between Ukraine and the russian federation on the stay of the russian federation's black sea fleet on the territory of Ukraine from June 21, 2010, i.e., the Kharkiv Pact.
The Deputy Prosecutor General signed a notice of suspicion against the former Minister of Justice. Also, the SBI investigators, at the prosecutor's request, notified a suspicion against the former Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine.
In 2021, Viktor Yanukovych and Mykola Azarov have already been notified of suspicion of high treason and put on the wanted list.
The investigation is ongoing.
