The weapons, that had been seized by the SBI from the former brigade commander of the territorial defense, were transferred to ARMA
At the request of the State Bureau of Investigation, the court in Zaporizhzhia handed over to the Asset Recovery and Management Agency (ARMA) a collection of weapons, that had been seized during investigative actions from the former commander of one of the territorial defense brigades. The estimated cost of the seized items is almost 750 thousand hryvnias.
The pre-trial investigation established, that the official illegally provided his wife with almost 1 million 200 thousand hryvnias of combat payments. He officially employed her as a shooter in the brigade he led, organizing payments for allegedly participating in hostilities. To circumvent the requirements of the law, the couple formally got divorced, but continued to live together.
During the searches, a significant number of collectible weapons was seized from the defendants - three self-loading carbines, two rifles, a self-loading pistol and a pump-action shotgun. All weapons were handed over to ARMA for further control.
Currently, the pre-trial investigation is being completed, the materials of the criminal proceedings are open for review by the suspect.
