SBI has completed investigation into two traitorous judges from Donetsk region
The State Bureau of Investigation has completed a special pre-trial investigation into two former judges from Donetsk region who are now working for the occupiers.
The indictments have been sent to court.
In 2014, when the aggressor invaded Donetsk region, both judges deliberately stayed in the temporarily occupied territory and supported the invaders. The women actively contributed to the establishment and functioning of the fake "judiciary" in the temporarily occupied territories.
One of the defendants, a judge of the leninsky district court of Donetsk region, has been a judge of the "budennovskiy interdistrict court of Donetsk city of the dpr" since 2015. She attended the hearings of the fake court on numerous occasions.
Currently, the woman is on a "business trip" to the temporarily occupied Mariupol to " set up" the work and functioning of the so-called "judicial system" of the occupiers in the city.
Another defendant, a former judge of one of the city district courts of Donetsk region, was appointed to a position in the so-called "supreme court of the dpr" in 2016, and in 2020 she became a member of the " judicial chamber for civil cases of the supreme court" of the pseudo-republic.
The ex-judge made a number of unlawful decisions against Ukrainian citizens, Ukrainian NGOs, Ukrainian-language publications and even religious books and brochures.
Both judges are accused of high treason and participation in a terrorist organisation (Article 111(1), Article 258-3(1) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
The article provides for a sentence of up to 15 years' imprisonment with confiscation of property.
Procedural supervision is carried out by the Donetsk Regional Prosecutor's Office.
