The SBI has completed the investigation into so-called " deputy prosecutor general" of the occupiers in Luhansk region

The SBI employees has completed a pre-trial investigation into a former law enforcement officer from Luhansk who is working for the occupiers as a so-called 'deputy prosecutor general'.

The indictment was sent to court.

In 2020, the defendant decided to work for the invaders on his own and received a fake position in the occupation prosecutor's office in the temporarily occupied territories of Luhansk region.

He follows the instructions of the invaders, participates in joint activities with representatives of the russian federation and a terrorist organisation in the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine.

The former law enforcement officer is accused of actions aimed at the violent change of power or overthrow of the constitutional order, encroachment on the territorial integrity of Ukraine (part 1 of Article 109, part 2 of Article 110 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).

The sanction of the article provides for punishment in the form of imprisonment for up to 10 years with confiscation of property.

The case is under the supervision of the Kyiv City Prosecutor's Office.
