The SBI has completed the investigation into a group of former law enforcers-traitors from Zaporizzhia region who robbed their colleagues and participated in propaganda

The SBI agents have completed a special investigation into nine former law enforcement officers from the Zaporizhzhia region who are now working for the enemy.

At the beginning of the temporary occupation of the settlement, they betrayed their oath and began to serve in a fake law enforcement agency of the russian federation in Chernihivka, Zaporizhzhia region. To prove their loyalty to the occupiers, they immediately betrayed their colleagues who refused to go over to the enemy.

The investigation also revealed that the traitors robbed the apartments and houses of their former colleagues who had evacuated to the free territory of Ukraine. They took part in the propaganda activities of the occupiers, agitated other law enforcement officers to join the ranks of the occupiers.

In particular, thanks to them, the ranks of the " people's police " were joined by former local law enforcers who had been dismissed for criminal offences earlier.

The former law enforcement officers are charged with high treason (Part 2 of Article 111 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).

The article provides for a penalty of life imprisonment with confiscation of property.

The case is being prosecuted by the Zaporizhia Regional Prosecutor's Office.

As a reminder, the SBI has completed a special pre-trial investigation into six former law enforcement officers from Berdiansk who betrayed their oath and are working for the enemy.
