The SBI has completed investigation against former law enforcer who provided addresses of Ukrainian servicemen and law enforcers from Vovchansk to occupants
The SBI employees completed the pre-trial investigation against a former law enforcer from Vovchansk, Kharkiv region, who defected to the enemy after the russian invasion.
The indictment was sent to court.
After the capture of Vovchansk by russian troops, the man cooperated with the occupiers. As a proof of his loyalty, he provided the occupants with addresses of anti-terrorist operation participants and Ukrainian law enforcement officers.
The traitor also gave them a car, worked at Russian checkpoints, assisted in the repair of equipment, and found fuel for it.
In early September, the law enforcement officer fled to Russia together with the occupiers.
The former law enforcement officer is charged with high treason (Part 1 of Art. 111 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
The sanction of the article provides for imprisonment for up to 15 years with confiscation of property.
Procedural supervision is carried out by the Kharkiv Regional Prosecutor's Office.
Earlier, the SBI served a notice of suspicion of treason to the head of the Vovchansk District Court, and also completed an investigation against a former law enforcement officer who helped create the occupation police department in Vovchansk.
Sooner or later - wherever they flee - all traitors will be held accountable before the Ukrainian law!
