The SBI has completed investigation of 9 more traitors in uniform
The State Bureau of Investigation continues its systematic work on exposing traitors and collaborators who started working for the enemy during martial law.
SBI employees in Donetsk region have completed pre-trial investigation against 9 former law enforcement officers from Luhansk and Donetsk regions who have been working for the enemy. Another 21 people have been notified of suspicion.
Former 8 law enforcers from Luhansk region are charged with treason. After russia captured part of Luhansk they have all voluntarily joined the occupying forces, betraying their oath of allegiance to Ukraine. After that they swore an oath of allegiance to the invader of Ukraine and began working in the pseudo-law enforcement agencies of the so-called 'luhansk people's republica'.
An indictment against a former employee of the Mariupol Detention Centre was also sent to court. For his active cooperation with the occupiers, the accused was appointed head of the Mariupol detention centre in the system of the so-called 'state penitentiary service of the ministry of justice of the dpr'. Based on his "denunciation" the occupiers violently "quelled" the riot in the detention centre.
All the defendants face life imprisonment with confiscation of property for high treason (part 2 of Article 111 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
The pre-trial investigation is being conducted by the Luhansk and Donetsk Regional Prosecutor's Offices.
In addition, the former judge of the Leninsky District Court of Donetsk region is suspected of participating in a terrorist organisation (Part 1 of Article 258-3 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine) and high treason (Part 1 of Article 111 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine). Since 2014, the woman has been actively cooperating with the occupation authorities, which have seized settlements in Donetsk region. She is currently administering "justice" under russian law in the temporarily occupied Mariupol.
The State Bureau of Investigation warns all officials and law enforcers against cooperation with the russian occupation forces. Severe punishment for such crimes is inevitable.
