SBI has completed pre-trial investigation against "head of the supreme court of the so-called "donetsk people's republic"

SBI employees completed the pre-trial investigation against a former law enforcement officer who betrayed Ukraine and held the positions of the so-called "Minister of Justice" and "Head of the Supreme Court" of the so-called "DNR" terrorist organisation.

After the beginning of russia's full-scale aggression, the defendant was appointed by the occupiers as the "Minister of Justice" and actively followed the instructions of the russian invaders to create the appearance of legitimacy of their government in the region.

The former law enforcement officer constantly participated in public speeches on the creation and operation of the so-called "justice units" in the occupied territories. In particular, such speeches were held by the suspect in Mariupol, Volnovakha and nearby villages.

Such "loyalty" allowed him to move up the career ladder quickly, and after a year of war, representatives of the racists offered him to head the so-called "supreme court of the dpr".

Currently, the second indictment on the traitor's collaborationist activities has been sent to court (Part 7 of Article 111-1 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).

The sanction of the article provides for punishment in the form of imprisonment for up to 15 years.

The criminal proceedings regarding the actions of the former law enforcement officer as the "Minister of Justice of the DPR" were completed and sent to court in May this year.

The Kyiv Regional Prosecutor's Office is providing procedural supervision.
