The SBI detained another traitor who tried to flee to the temporarily occupied territory (VIDEO)

Employees of the State Bureau of Investigations in cooperation with the National Police in Kharkiv region detained a former law enforcement officer. During the occupation of Balakliia city, he defected to the enemy and started serving in the so-called "people's police".

The traitor together with the occupants patrolled the streets of Balakliia. During their raids, they were looking for local patriots, as well as anyone who had any relation to the Armed Forces of Ukraine or law enforcement agencies. In addition, on the instructions of his supervisors, he guarded various objects in the city.

After the defection of the russian military, the traitor got rid of his mobile phones and the uniform he was issued. For some time he was hiding in the woods, and later decided to flee to the temporarily occupied territory of Donetsk region.

However, the State Bureau of Investigation established his whereabouts and detained him.

The issue of serving him a notice of suspicion of treason (Article 111 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine) is currently being decided.

The sanction of the article provides for life imprisonment.
