The SBI exposed a traitor who became a commander of russian special forces and a commander of the occupiers' patrol police in Kherson region

In absentia, the SBI agents served a notice of suspicion of collaboration to a resident of the Kherson region who, after the temporary occupation of the region, became the commander of the special combat unit "Thunder" in the occupational "main department of the ministry of internal affairs of the Kherson region".

The personnel of the aggressor unit searches and detains pro-Ukrainian residents of the Kherson region who support the de-occupation of the Ukrainian territories. At the same time, the traitors, through their pseudo-press service, systematically report the arrest of "Ukrainian saboteurs".

Another resident of the region was also accused of collaboration, who became a platoon commander of a patrol battalion of the so-called "people's police" in the occupied Kherson region and received the special rank of "senior sergeant".

The traitors are suspected of voluntarily holding a position in illegal law enforcement bodies established in the temporarily occupied territory by a citizen of Ukraine (Part 7 of Article 111-1 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).

The penalty under this article is imprisonment for up to 15 years.

The case is being prosecuted by the Cherkasy Regional Prosecutor's Office.
