The SBI exposed a law enforcement officer from Kharkiv in cooperation with the FSS of the russian federation

Employees of the SBI, jointly with SSU staff, exposed criminal intelligence detective of the National Police in the Kharkiv region, who "leaked" data to the russian occupiers. Now he "leaks" detailed information about the treason to the SBI investigators.

It was preliminarily established that the criminal intelligence detective was recruited by the FSS of russian federation at the beginning of a full-scale invasion.

Upon request of the occupiers, the “law enforcement officer” collected information about the military equipment of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, checkpoints, and the location of the units of the region’s law enforcement agencies.

The collected information, with specific geolocations, he transmitted to the curators using one of the Internet messengers.

In addition, the SBI employees found an arsenal of unregistered ammunition in the law enforcement officer's official vehicle.

He has been notified of suspicion, particularly of high treason committed under martial law (Part 2, Article 111 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).

The sanction of the article provides for punishment in the form of imprisonment for 15 years or life imprisonment, with confiscation of property.

On the 11th of May, 2022, by the decision of the Kyiv District Court of Poltava, a preventive measure in the form of detention was chosen for the suspect.
