Two former police officers from Melitopol exposed by the SBI for tracking down partisans under the occupiers' orders.
SBI agents exposed former law enforcers who defected to the enemy and are helping the aggressors to identify Ukrainian partisans in Melitopol.
The traitors voluntarily agreed to work for the invaders at the beginning of the temporary occupation of the city. They disobeyed the order to relocate and began working for an illegally created law enforcement agency'.
Currently, the defendants are patrolling Melitopol and Melitopol district, imposing fines under the laws of the russian Federation. They carry out the orders of the occupation authorities to identify and suppress the guerrilla movement, to confiscate weapons from local hunters and to report to the russian special services on the citizens' opinions.
They actively agitate their former colleagues to collaborate with the enemy.
In cooperation with the Internal Security of the National Police, the defendants were served in absentia a notice of suspicion of high treason (Part 2 of Article 111 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
The sanction of the article provides for punishment in the form of life imprisonment with confiscation of property.
Procedural supervision is carried out by the Zaporizzhya Region Prosecutor's Office.
