The SBI in cooperation with the Asset Recovery and Management Agency continues to work on the arrest of property of the fugitive oligarch

The employees of the SBI, in cooperation with the National Agency of Ukraine for Finding, Tracing and Management of Assets Derived from Corruption and Other Crimes (ARMA) and the competent authorities of the foreign states, continue to take active and effective measures to return to the use of the state property, which belongs to the fugitive oligarch, who has a significant influence on the companies of the Ferrexpo group.

It should be reminded, that in March 2025, at the initiative of the State Bureau of Investigation, the detected property of the fugitive oligarch was transferred to ARMA.

The property was arrested as a part of the investigation of the SBI on suspicion of the oligarch and his accomplices in embezzlement of 113 million USD from the bank "Finance and Credit".

On February 28, 2025, the Pechersk District Court of Kyiv satisfied the petition of the prosecutor of the Office of the Prosecutor General to transfer to ARMA the corporate rights of 16 enterprises, that are the part of the Ferrexpo group from the sphere of influence of the fugitive oligarch. Among them is 49.5% of the authorized capital of Private Joint – Stock Company «Poltava Mining and Processing Plant».

The SBI expects that the specialists of ARMA will complete the work on executing of the ruling of the investigating judge of the Pechersk District Court of Kyiv dated February 28, 2025, to transfer of the corporate rights of those 16 enterprises to ARMA as soon as possible.
