The SBI is investigating the attempted murder of the Head of the Kirovograd District Administrative Court

The SBI employees are investigating an attempted murder of the Head of the Kirovohrad District Administrative Court in the city of Kropyvnytskyi.

According to witnesses, on the 10th of June this year, a law enforcement officer under alcohol intoxication quarrelled with the Head of the District Administrative Court. During the quarrel, he put a weapon to the head of the latter and threatened to kill the head of the court.

According to preliminary information, the quarrel occurred late in the evening on domestic grounds.

Employees of the SBI detained the law enforcement officer. Currently, the issue of notifying him of suspicion of committing murder is being considered (Part 3 of Article 15, Part 1 of  Article 115 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).

The sanction of the article provides for imprisonment for up to 15 years.

The pretrial investigation continues.
