The SBI investigates more than 2,5 thousand cases of crimes against National Security of Ukraine, more than 1 thousand indictments were sent to the court

The State Bureau of Investigation systematically exposes those who betrayed Ukraine during the war. Within the framework of open proceedings, investigators collect evidence, interrogate witnesses and submit materials to the court to bring the perpetrators to the justice.

Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, the SBI has been investigating 2 571 criminal proceedings for crimes against national security, such as:

1,8 thousand proceedings on the facts of high treason (Article 111 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine),

584 proceedings on collaboration (Article 111-1 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine),

46 proceedings on aiding the aggressor state (Article 111-2 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine) and others.

At the beginning of May:

1,3 thousand people were served notifications of suspicion,

522 people were put on the wanted list,

1,3 thousand people are being checked for involvement in high treason and collaboration,

1.1 thousand indictments were sent to the court.

Among the recent examples of the effective work of the SBI is the exposure of former law enforcement officers, so-called «judges», authorities and officials who voluntarily collaborated with the occupation authorities:

A traitor, who was detained by the SBI in the Donetsk region, will be judged for high treason

A resident of the Kherson region, who was detained by the SBI for cooperation with the invaders, will be judged

A traitor, who gave to the enemy information about the Defense Forces of Ukraine and infrastructure facilities, will be sentenced to 15 years in prison

The SBI exposed the official of the correctional colony from the Kyiv region, who provided data to the special services of the russian federation on the militaries of the Armed Forces of Ukraine

and others.

The SBI continues its purposeful work to establish justice and protect the national interests of the state.
