The SBI continues to systematically expose traitors and collaborators in law enforcement agencies. A fan of the "russian world" in the Security Service of Ukraine is exposed

The SBI, together with the Security Service of Ukraine, thoroughly checks all state and law enforcement agencies for traitors, collaborators and those who justify russian aggression. This time, such a supporter of the "russian world" was detected in the Security Service of Ukraine's research institute.

The operation was conducted in close cooperation with the SSU.

The SBI employees served a notice of suspicion to the Deputy Head of the Financial and Economic Department of the Ukrainian Research Institute of Special Equipment and Forensic Expertise of the Security Service of Ukraine.

The woman publicly justified russia's war against Ukraine and denied the occupation of Ukrainian territory by any means.

At her workplace, she tried to convince her colleagues that the war russia started in Ukraine in 2014 was an internal civil conflict. She also claimed that the Ukrainian cities of Kharkiv and Odesa were "originally russian cities".

The official is suspected of justifying, recognizing as lawful, and denying russia's armed aggression against Ukraine (part 3 of Article 436-2 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).

The sanction of the article provides for imprisonment for up to 8 years with confiscation of property.

The Kyiv City Prosecutor's Office is in charge of the proceedings.

The SBI emphasizes that no traitor or collaborator will escape responsibility.
