SBI served another notice of suspicion to the the so-called minister of justice and supreme court judge of the donetsk people's republic

SBI employees served in absentia another suspicion notice to a former law enforcement officer who betrayed Ukraine and held the positions of the so-called " minister of justice" and "head of the supreme court" of the "donetsk people's republic" terrorist organisation.

It has been found that after the start of russian full-scale invasion, the offender received the position of "minister of justice" from the occupiers and actively followed the instructions of the russian invaders to make the region look like their government was legitimate.

The former law enforcement officer constantly participated in public speeches on the creation and operation of the so-called "justice units" in the occupied territories. In particular, such speeches were held by the suspect in Mariupol, Volnovakha and nearby villages.

Such "loyalty" allowed him to move quickly up the career ladder, and during the year of war, representatives of the racists offered him to head the so-called "supreme court of the dpr".

Currently, the defendant has been served a second notice of suspicion of collaboration (Part 7 of Art. 111-1 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.

The sanction of the article provides for punishment in the form of imprisonment for up to 15 years.

The criminal proceedings regarding the actions of the former law enforcement officer as the " minister of justice of the dpr" have been completed, and the indictment has been sent to court.

The Kyiv Regional Prosecutor's Office is in charge of the proceedings.
