The SBI notified the betrayer of Ukraine about the suspicion, who in 2014 joined the enemy and today is fighting against his homeland

The SBI officers notified the former commander of the navigational combat unit of the corvette "Ternopil" Stanislav Pohodoshchuk of the suspicion of state treason, who defected to the enemy in 2014.

After the invaders captured his unit in Sevastopol and the corvette "Ternopil", the officer broke his oath and defected to the enemy.
Now he is serving in the 36th brigade of missile boats of the Baltic Fleet of the Russian Federation Armed Forces.

SBI investigators collected enough evidence and informed the enemy in absentia about the suspicion of treason (Part 1 of Article 111 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).

He faces punishment in the form of deprivation of liberty for up to 15 years.

The Specialized Prosecutor's Office in the Military and Defense Sphere of the Pyivdennyi Region is in charge of the proceedings.

It should be reminded, that earlier the SBI had already notified the captain of the russian cruiser "Admiral Makarov" and the commander of the missile boat "Vyshny Volochek" of suspicion. Officers also betrayed Ukraine in 2014.

The SBI emphasizes that every collaborator and betrayer will be held accountable for their atrocities. The crimes against the fundamentals of national security do not have a limitation period.
