The SBI reported suspicion of high treason to already fourth "tax" collector from Kupiansk
The State Bureau of Investigation continues to systematically prosecute traitors and collaborators who helped the invaders in the temporarily occupied territories.
The SBI employees served a notice of suspicion to one more employee of the Kupiansk State Tax Inspectorate.
Before the occupation, the woman worked as a chief state inspector. After the russian invasion of Ukraine, the occupants created in Kupiansk the so-called "tax authority of Kharkiv region", which extorted money from the local population.
Representatives of the occupation forces hired local residents to work in the so-called tax authority after the interviews. The traitor went to work voluntarily, she, like other tax traitors, was collecting tribute from the local residents under the guise of taxes.
The former tax officer was reported suspicion of high treason (Part 2 of Art. 111 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
The sanction of the article provides for life imprisonment with confiscation of property.
The procedural guidance is provided by the Kharkiv Region Prosecutor's Office.
