The SBI served a notice of suspicion to a law enforcer who is organising the transfer of russian military in Enerhodar
SBI employees served a notice of suspicion in absentia to a law enforcement officer from Zaporizhzhia region who, after the start of russia's full-scale invasion, defected to the enemy and helped the occupiers with transport.
He stayed in Enerhodar and voluntarily accepted the occupiers' offer to work for the illegal government - Enerhodar's military-civilian administration.
The former law enforcement officer was appointed head of the housing and communal services department of road and transportation section. He is still working for the enemy, organizing the transfer of russian military personnel in particular.
The defendant also regularly becomes a "hero" of the propaganda media. In particular, on the news, he complained about Ukrainian commanders, praised the occupiers and speculated about the future of the nuclear power plant - all in accordance with the kremlin's narratives.
The defendant was served in absentia a notice of suspicion of voluntarily holding a position in an illegal authority established in the temporarily occupied territory (Part 5 of Article 111-1 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
The article provides for imprisonment for up to 10 years.
