The SBI employees notified one of the heads of the state authorities in the Chernihiv region of suspicion of releasing a criminal from prison

It was found that after the beginning of the russian aggression, the officer gave a verbal illegal order to release the "criminal in law", who was waiting for the court verdict on charges of murder in the remand center, which is located on the territory of the colony.

In March, the criminal was detained while trying to cross the state border with the Republic of Moldova in the Vinnytsia region.

The SBI suspects the officer of abetting an escape from the guards (Part 5 of Article 27 and Part 1 of Article 393 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).

At the moment, the decision about the dismissal of the suspect from the occupied position and about the choice of a preventive measure is being considered.

The pre-trial investigation is ongoing.
