The SBI reported suspicion to the head of occupation police of one of the districts of Luhansk region
The SBI employees served a notice of suspicion to a former law enforcement officer who headed the department of the occupation police of the invaders in Kreminna, Luhansk region.
After the capture of the city by russian troops, the law enforcement officer remained in the temporarily occupied territories and took the position of the head of the so-called "Kreminna police department of the ministry of internal affairs of the luhansk people's republic".
He was involved in examining the documents of the locals and recruited his subordinates by agitating them to work for the occupiers.
In addition, SBI agents reported suspicion to a young man who studied at a university of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine.
After the russian invasion, he had a meeting with representatives of the occupation authorities and agreed to serve in the so-called law enforcement agencies of the "luhansk people's republic".
The guy took the "oath" of allegiance to the occupiers and took a position in the so-called "Novopskov District Department of Internal Affairs of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the LPR".
Both suspects were served a notice of suspicion of treason (Part 2 Art. 111 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
The sanction of the article provides for punishment in the form of life imprisonment.
The procedural guidance is provided by the Luhansk Region Prosecutor's Office.
The State Bureau of Investigation warns all officials and law enforcement officers against cooperation with russian occupation troops. Severe punishment for such crimes is inevitable.
