SBI employees informed a former law enforcer from the village of Velykyi Burluk, Kupiansk district, of suspicion. During the seizure of the region by russian troops, she voluntarily agreed to serve the invaders in the so-called "people's police".

It has been established that while working for the aggressors, the woman organised repressions against local residents who would not let their children go to school. Parents categorically refused to allow their children to study according to russian educational norms. There are several such facts known.

The suspect, joined by armed russian military personnel, broke into a house where three underage children were being brought up. The demand was the same: either the children go to school and study according to the russian curriculum, or they will be taken away from their parents and forcibly transported to Belgorod.

The defendant also pressured local businessmen to register with the occupation tax office and pay taxes to the invaders' treasury. She threatened to take away their businesses if they did not comply.

During the liberation of the village, the woman fled after the russian military.

The former law enforcement officer is suspected in absentia of voluntarily holding a position in an illegal law enforcement agency established in the temporarily occupied territory (Part 7 of Article 111-1 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).

The article provides for a sentence of up to 15 years in prison.

The case is under the supervision of the Kharkiv Regional Prosecutor's Office.
