The SBI served a notice of suspicion to the Kherson colony inspector who kept Ukrainian patriots behind bars
Employees of the SBI reported suspicion to the inspector of the Department of Supervision and Security of the Northern Correctional Colony (No. 90). He on the instructions of the occupiers, kept Kherson patriots behind bars. The traitor was found in cooperation with the Security Service of Ukraine and the National Police in April.
After the beginning of the temporary occupation of the Kherson region and the seizure of the penitentiary institution, the inspector went to serve the invaders, following the invitation of his former superiors, who are also traitors.
He was given the post of junior inspector in an illegally created body based on the confiscated Ukrainian colony.
On the instructions of the occupation authorities, the defendant kept prisoners in custody, including Kherson patriots, whom the enemy threw into cells for disobedience. He also urged his friends and acquaintances to work for the occupying regime.
After the liberation of Kherson, the accused failed to escape with his masters and tried to hide in the regional centre.
During the searches at the suspect's place of residence, the law enforcers found documents proving collaboration with the enemy: "service certificate" of a russian-made fake correctional facility, salary statements in rubles, russian Federation symbols, etc.
The former law enforcement officer was served a notice of suspicion of high treason (Part 2 of Article 111 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
He faces life imprisonment with confiscation of all property.
The Kherson Regional Prosecutor's Office is in charge of the procedural supervision.
