SBI served suspicion notices to 7 former law enforcement officers who worked for the occupiers in the temporarily occupied territories
SBI employees systematically expose and investigate cases of former law enforcement officers who betrayed their oath and began to "serve" the occupiers in the temporarily occupied Donbas. This week, 7 traitors and collaborators have been served suspicion notices.
In particular, the SBI suspects five former law enforcement officers who "found work" in the illegally created bodies of the invaders in the temporarily occupied territory of Luhansk region.
The defendants held various positions with the occupiers, including investigator and district police officer. One of them works in the occupation commandant's office and calls on the population to voluntarily surrender their weapons. All the defendants participated in the creation of propaganda stories for Russian media.
The former law enforcement officers were served a notice of suspicion of collaboration (Part 7 of Article 111-1 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
The sanction of the article provides for punishment in the form of imprisonment for up to 15 years with confiscation of property.
SBI officers also suspect the deputy head of a department of a law enforcement agency in Mariupol of high treason (part 2 of Article 111 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine). She faces life imprisonment with confiscation of property.
The woman actively contributed to the establishment of the occupation regime. During the capture of the city by russians, she joined the so-called 'police of the dpr' and began working as an investigator in the 'newly created' 'Illichivsk district department of the Mariupol city department of the mIA' of the pseudo-republic.

And in Zaporizhzhia, SBI officers served a notice of suspicion to a former law enforcement officer from Yakymivka who, in April 2022, defected to the enemy and handed over citizens who resisted the illegal russian government to the occupiers.
