The SBI reported suspicion to 10 ex-employees of Starobilsk detention center working for occupants
Employees of the State Bureau of Investigation notified of suspicion 10 former employees of the Starobilsk detention center, who after the russian invasion started working for the occupiers.
After the seizure of Starobilsk district of Luhansk region by russians, ten employees of the local detention center voluntarily went to "serve" in the newly so-called "investigative isolator of the ministry of internal affairs of luhansk people's republic" created by the occupants.
One of the defectors was the head of the personnel department, who handed over to the occupiers the personal files of the detention center employees.
Currently, the defendants are hiding from the investigators on the territory of Luhansk region temporarily occupied by russia.
All 10 former law enforcement officers were served a notice of suspicion of treason (Part 2 Art. 111 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
The sanction of the article provides for punishment in the form of life imprisonment with confiscation of property.
The procedural supervision of the pre-trial investigation is carried out by the Luhansk Region Prosecutor's Office.
The State Bureau of Investigations continues systematic work on exposing traitors who decided to defect to the enemy. Each such fact is thoroughly worked out, all collaborators will be brought to criminal responsibility.
It should be reminded that three law enforcers from Luhansk region, who work for the occupants, will be brought to trial based on the SBI materials.
