SBI has served suspicion notices to four ex-executives of Vinnytsia region's StateGeoCadastre who illegally distributed land worth UAH 80 million (VIDEO)

The SBI, in close cooperation with the Security Service, has issued suspicion notices to four former heads of the Main Department of the State Geocadastre in the Vinnytsia region. They illegally distributed land plots worth more than UAH 80 million in different years.

It was found that in 2013-2020 the heads of the department improperly performed their official duties and issued orders to grant free land plots to persons who had previously exercised the right to receive free land plots without verification.

Over 50 such cases have been identified. These plots have now been confiscated.

Searches are being carried out at the homes of the suspects.

They are suspected of gross negligence with serious consequences (Part 2 of Article 367 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).

The penalty under this article is imprisonment for a term of 2 to 5 years, disqualification from holding certain positions or engaging in certain activities for up to 3 years, and a fine of 250 to 750 minimum tax-free incomes.
