The SBI employees with the assistance of Kyiv Customs blocked the possibility of importing russian goods worth millions of hryvnias into Ukraine. About 40 tons of air conditioners and spare parts for russian-made cars were seized. Currently, measures for transferring the property to the National Agency of Ukraine for finding, tracing and management of assets derived from corruption and other crimes are being taken.

Auto parts were imported into the customs territory of Ukraine through affiliated belarusian and chinese companies, the beneficiaries of which are citizens of russia.
Within the framework of the pre-trial investigation, the SBI seized over 40 tons of goods worth over UAH 12 million. At the initiative of the SBI and at the request of the Kyiv City Prosecutor's Office, the Pechersk District Court arrested the above-mentioned property.
The criminal proceeding was initiated under the article of financing actions committed with the aim of violent change or overthrow of the constitutional order or seizure of state power (Part 2 Art. 110-2 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
The sanction of the article provides imprisonment for a term up to 7 years.
