The SBI transferred property of traitor ex-mayor of Sviatohirsk to the ARMA (VIDEO)

The State Bureau of Investigation has transferred the real estate of the former mayor of Sviatohirsk worth over UAH 12 million to theAsset Recovery and Management Agency of Ukraine.

In October 2022, at the request of the SBI, the court seized his apartment in Kyiv, non-residential premises and a land plot in Kharkiv region.

As a reminder, the SBI opened criminal proceedings against the former mayor on the grounds of high treason in June last year. He publicly supported the occupiers and spread russian propaganda and fakes.

The Bureau is also investigating the embezzlement of budget funds. In 2020, the Sviatohirsk City Council signed a contract with a construction company to reconstruct a kindergarten. The construction was not completed, and the acceptance certificates for the work performed presented false information. At the same time, an extra UAH 3 million was transferred from the budget to the account of the construction company.

The suspect is hiding in the temporarily occupied territory, he was put on the wanted list and deprived of his official powers.

The Donetsk Region Prosecutor's Office is in charge of the proceedings.
